Adria Otte is a musician, composer, sound engineer, and educator whose work spans live performance (violin, electric guitar, synthesizers), music composition and sound design for dance and theater, show programming in Ableton Live, playback and audio engineering. Her eclectic musical background includes classical violin studies, rock bands, traditional Korean drumming, free improvisation, and experimental electronic music. As an audio engineer, she previously worked as a studio engineer at Women’s Audio Mission in San Francisco, and does freelance on-site classical recordings working with Lolly Lewis of Transparent Recordings. She has a passion for using music technology to expand the possibilities of live performance and frequently collaborates with artists across disciplines as a composer, sound designer, audio engineer, and consultant. Adria has been on the faculty at the College of San Mateo since 2019, where she currently teaches full-time in the music department.
